Cirque and Destroy takes pride in our ability to build Community Leaders! Talented individuals who come to hone their craft. We train the most novice people to performers with sold out arena shows Cirque and Destroy lends help to anyone interested in truly immersing themselves in the world of Circus Arts. 


We are also a community effort committed to teaching fire and circus safety. We strive to aid, guide and develop flow and circus artists in our community in a safe, sober, supportive and constructive way.

Safety/Liability Waiver

CIRQUE SUNDAYS ARE HELD AT every Sunday (unless otherwise noted on our calendar)
Where: 6601 Sherman Street, Downtown Houston Texas
When: 7pm - Midnight

Rules of the Burn Circle

Cirque and Destroy brings people from all walks of life together to share their skills and talents. We absolutely encourage all participants to learn, teach, and expand their interests here with us. That being said, a lot of these talents are extremely dangerous and should only be practiced by trained professionals. To make sure that everyone gets a chance to strut their stuff, while also being as safe as possible, anyone who breaks any of the following rules may be eligible for a lifetime ban from this group and any future events we host!

!!!Cirque and Destroy prides itself as one of the only enforced Sobriety fire practice spaces in Texas.
Please respect our desire to keep the "recreational activity" away from our dangerous art form.
This is for your safety and others. If you cannot respect this rule we cannot allow you to burn. 
 
Things we do not tolerate at Cirque and Destroy:
-        Theft
-        Drug and/or Alcohol Abuse and/or Impairment while spinning fire !YOU MUST BURN SOBER!
-        Underage drinking
-        Drunk and disorderly or aggressive behavior
-        Fighting
 
FIERY things do not tolerate at Cirque and Destroy:
-        Burning without a designated safety or not knowing your safety’s name
-        Burning outside the Burn Circle
-        Entering the Circle without permission while someone is performing with a lit prop
-        Soaking fire-props with fuel outside of the designated fueling area
-        Spinning off on grass (It Kills the grass)
-        Not closing the lid after dipping props
-        Teaching fire-breathing on premise or outside of a professional workshop setting
 
Breaking any of the above rules may result in any of the following forms of punishment:
-        Suspended from all activities. (You may stay, but not participate.)
-        Kicked off the premises until you’ve had time to “cool off.”.
-        Official Blacklist of Banned Offenders

We'd like to remind that you are a guest; please clean up after yourself and report all Damages to Cirque and Destroy Personnel

Consent:

• Ask before touching other peoples equipment/ props
• Ask for permission to touch others
• Ask before entering the burn circle 

Fire: 

• !!A Safety must be present to burn!!
• !!YOU MUST BE SOBER IF YOU INTEND TO BURN!!
• !!Do not burn outside the designated burn circle!!
• !!Do not enter the burn circle while fire is ignited without prior authorization of current manipulator!! 

**Cirque and Destroy reserves the right to eject anyone from the burn circle/premises if they exhibit any forms of threats or behavior that may cause harm to others.
